Pots, Plates, & Plants Earthly Horizons Floral Designs celebrated EARTH WEEK with Still Hip! First time ever event, "Pots, Plates & Plants" was hosted by Still Hip, 283 Grand Avenue in Clinton Hills, Brooklyn. The event started at 2:00 PM and consisted of 20 participants. Children and adults gathered to participate in a planting tutorial facilitated by Earthly Horizons Owner and Staff. Guests walked away with their plant projects: a 6" clay pot, saucer, a flower of their choice (African Violet, Spider Plant, Angel Plant, or Spider Mum), potted soil, balloons, snacks, and a surprise gift. Perfect & in time for Mother's Day!
A Magnolia Tree Planting A frequent local customer purchased a Magnolia tree and hosted the first ever tree planting ceremony at her site on Monroe Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Earthly Horizons owner and staff gathered to plant the Magnolia Tree and hosted a small ceremony to lend best wishes for growth and prosperity. Evidence that trees are planted & still do grow in Brooklyn!
We thank you all for your participation Earth Week...
